DreamWindow is built on a simple promise: your dreams are yours. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.

Your dreams stay on your device

When you record a dream, the audio and its transcription are processed on your device. Your dream recordings and their text are stored locally and are not uploaded to our servers.

On-device intelligence

DreamWindow uses Apple's on-device intelligence to reflect motifs from your dreams back to you. This processing happens on your device; the contents of your dreams are not sent to us or to third parties for this purpose.

What we do collect

• Purchases & subscriptions. If you subscribe, purchases are handled by Apple and our payments provider (RevenueCat). They receive the information needed to process and validate your subscription. We do not receive your full payment card details.
• Basic, anonymized app analytics. We may collect anonymized usage and diagnostic data to understand how the app is used and to fix problems. This does not include the contents of your dreams.

What we never do

• We never sell your data.
• We never read, interpret, or share the contents of your dreams.
• We never use your dreams to train external models.

Notifications & alarms

If you use DreamWindow's alarm feature, it schedules alarms through Apple's system frameworks on your device. Alarm settings are stored locally.

Your control

You can delete any dream at any time from within the app, which removes it from your device. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data.

Children

DreamWindow is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
